Volunteering and doing community service is a great way to get involved, give back to the local and global community, and become a leader in the community.

People can volunteer in a variety of social issues such as human rights, education, food insecurity, environmental conservation, and animal welfare. 

pasos al futuro

Every Fall (October-December), Hillsborough County hosts Pasos al Futuro across various high schools in the county. The program educates Latinx/Hispanic students and their families about secondary education, including the application process and scholarships.

 

The Latin American Student Association (LASA) partners with Pasos al Futuro to gather volunteers from USF to help out in these events. To volunteer, reach out to LASA (email). For more information on Pasos al Futuro, click on the link below.

stampede of service (SOS)

USF's largest city-wide annual day of service is now a full weekend! 

 

Throughout MLK, Jr. Weekend, students will have the opportunity to volunteer in different organizations across the city. Registrations start early, so make sure that you sign up on time. Students can sign up to be site leader

BULLS SERVICE BREAK (BSB)

Every Spring Break, Bulls Service Break offers an opportunity week-long service opportunities where students travel to different parts of the country to volunteer. 

​

Recently, a new Winter Break service trip to Puerto Rico has been added, the Puerto Rico Service & Adventure Trip, allowing students with a passion for service and the outdoors to travel to the island of Puerto Rico.
